96 Blazer troubles

On the way home from Kerts today I noticed my back window will no longer open. I think the "popper" is fubared. The button on the tailgate, the dash button and keyless entry non of them work...and all of a sudden also my cell phone charger will blow the fuse for the 2 acessory and cig lighter outlets.

Any ideas on what it could be. Not so worried about the 12v outlets as I am its gonna be a major pain to get anything done this week if i can open my hatch up. And I have the week off with lots planned too

IIRC, there is a little acuator that the linkage pops off of and causes the glass not to pop. Sometimes the linkage breaks, sometimes the actuator, sometimes it's the clip that holds the linkage to the actuator.

Something about not being able to open the glass if the hatch is up or have to pop the glass before the tailgate will come down comes to mind. It seems to me that it keeps the stupid from doing what they do.

I cant even anything move at all so i think its electrical. Im still tryin to figure out how the hell im going to get into that tailgate to work on on. Im going after a chiltons or haynes for it tommorrow.

Through the back seat, you can almost remove the plastic tailgate cover without opening it. I think there are screws at the bottom that can't be accessed unless the gate it open. Once you get the door trim panel back, it will be pretty clear what is wrong.

Turns out Im an idiot guys...I noticed my dome light wasnt workin too...so I checked the fuse for the dome light...sure as hell its on the same circuit.

Horn, Dome Light, Cig Lighter outlet(but not the 12v outlets right beside it) , and the back hatch are all on the same circuit


So I lucked out, thanks anyway though
