1- 1997 14 bolt with 3.73 gears, 155,000 miles, good shape $150.00/OBO

1- 1998 14 bolt with 4.10 gears, around 150,000 miles, good shape $200.00/OBO

These are both from SRW 2500HD trucks with large rear brakes. Great upgrade for someone with a 14 bolt semi-floating rear.

I don't think shipping would be practical, but I make frequent trips up to Maryland, and could meet someone near here or up there.

Not much I am really aware of. Different spring pad widths, strengthening around the diff housing is about all I can think of now.

which is stronger, new or old 14bff? is the aftermarket as big, like lockers and stuff? are they available for the new ones?

brackets

if your gonna do a disc brake conversion. the brackets are different for the older and newer.

Same lockers, same gears. Not much difference there. I don't think I would use the newer versions (I think around 90-up) for rock crawling/4 wheeling mostly because the housings have so much more material around them, especially on the bottom. Lots of grinding for maximum clearance. I suppose that is the main source of any possible increase in strength.

Ever make it to the eastern side of virginia around fredericksburg/NOVA?

I do fairly often, but the 4.10 is gone (sold to guy on PBB), and I have to hang on to the 3.73 for now. Which one are you interested in? I will let you know when the 3.73 is out and available if you want.

Actually found a 3.73 14ff in king george for $250 ready to drop in. A matching 8lug D44 for $50 and $20 for a set of 16.5x8 rims with goodyear mtr's 32" size in great shape all local so I'm good. Thanks anyways.

i should know this, but could you give me the distance between the spring perch centers? how close to pennsylvania do you come?
