'97 Honda Accord misfiring

Wondering if any of you mechanics can give me a hand with my DD.

'97 Honda Accord EX, 1.6L 4 cylinder, Auto tranny.

When I start it up, it idles just fine and runs like it should. As it warms up, it begins to not only start to idle really rough when at a stoplight, but now it will run fine, then have a cylinder miss for a second or so, then back to normal, then miss again. Sometimes it will miss the entire time as well. I got the codes read on it, and it read 4 codes of each cylinder missing.

This car has recently received new plugs, wires, cap, and coil. Anybody got any ideas?

Check the ground on the top of the motor that goes to the core support. It's a small ground but, it can cause you some problems.

My truck did this and it was a bad O2 sensor. It was running rich. I figured it out when friend told me he saw blue smoke when I floored it and I also often noticed the strong smell of fuel from the exhaust.

If it has spark plugs with wires,that are buried deep in a "well",the spark plug boots often crack or let spark jump to ground on the valve cover on that type setup--might not do it all the time,mostly when its damp out--sometimes in cold weather frost builds up in there and when it melts it'll short that plug out ...I see lots of forigen cars with plugs like those and the wells fill up with oil and water and the boots fail and the spark grounds out instead of firing the plugs..

oil in the spark plug tube from the valve cover gasket. pull the wires out and check em. takes 2 minutes

Why a coil? That's not a standard part to replace on a Honda. Usually if you need to replace the coil you need to replace the entire distributor
