98 c1500 intake 2 piece?

are you converting to carb?

if not you cant use that.

and stock 96-2000 vortec 350 and 305 is 2 peice intake. you can unbolt the lower and remove all at 1 time tho.

where is yours leaking ? check the heater hose quick coupler pass side front and the intake gaskets ends. thay rot out all the time from the dex cool crap and being plastic intake gaskets .

only things i have seen is the seal area on the factory stuff pit out from oxidation in the coolent passage areas.

also you need a full on scanner not just a code reader to set the timming on the motor when you pull the dist.

yea won't work. The injector assembly installs inside of the 2 halves of the intake. They really aren't the end of the world to remove. The intake gaskets are the most common coolant leak culprit I found.

thats is whats leaking. i will look around jegs and find the right one

You will not find it. Only parts stores and dealers carry the right one. Start with getting new intake gaskets, ones with the metal core. If that doesn't seal it then you have another problem.

you are right didnt find a thing. i will try the metal core ones thanks

yes there is the factory lower half.

the factory injection setup on this is one in its self.

as for the updated gaskets go to the dealer or i heard felpro is selling them. but watch out for old stock std replacements for felpro.

anyone have a part# for the metal core gaskets?? guy at the part store has no idea what im talking about

At autozone and advance auto the # is MS98000T comes in as a set for $58 to $61. Don't get the ones at the dealer. They are still plastic but with metal sleeves at the bolt holes and around $75 for one gasket.
