98 Chevy Silverado p/u

I am looking for parts for this truck now and the yards are telling me that in 98 there was no Silverado, but I am driving one. Anyone know about this? thanks

same as autozone or pep boys, if they can't find it in their book, it doesn't exist. New pickups are always called, "silverados" they saying they used the name through the 80s and 90s, dropped it a few years then brought it back with a vengance?

I would just tell them it's a 98 chevy pickup, 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, or whatever, 2 or 4wd with Silverado trim package.
