I wish i could figure out how to link things but anyway, there is a 99 4wd 3500hd on ebay now,it looks like a straight axle. Were these things actually made and exist because that changes everything for me.

copy and paste dude. cope and paste. in reply the icon, the globe with the paper clip is where you paste the link

I've personally never seen a 4wd 3500hd but seen lots of 2wd ones. maybe they were special order?

I have heard rumors that the 3500HD versions came with a SFA in the 4wd versions, never seen one or taken time to dig into it. I know the 2wd versions have a solid front axle.

There's quite a few down here but they aren't straight axle, IFS, unless the individual had it done custom. I couldn't find it though, there were only 4 99 3500's and all of them were IFS. Was it in a different section other than Chevy Silverado 3500?

He's asking about the 3500HD, which is a different animal from the 3500, at least in the 90's body style. They had a taller front grill, easily id'd by the plastic section between the lights and bumper, 19.5" dually wheels on (I believe) 10 lug hubs, etc. Like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1995....c0.m245&_trkparms=72:727|65:12|39:1|240:1308

It s got like 30 minutes left. It says its a Monroe conversion with 10 lug hubs. I like it but the flatbed wont work for me.That and I dont have the money right now!:o

Seen a lot of the 2wd's, but no 4x4's. They are 10 lug in the rear, but oddly only use 5 lugs in the front. Most have been wreckers.

I drove a 99hd at a landscaping job, only 2wd but it did have the "solid axle" up front. On a side note I hate that grill spacer thing
