99 Gm trans cooler replacement

I want to replace the current GM issue trans cooler on my 99 6.0 2500.
Is there a bigger factory unit made to fit those "special" fittings on the cooler lines? Like an HD cooler? An Allison unit perhaps. anybody know?

get some ideas from this guy half way down the thread. its a 88-98 style but get you thinking. . . .

Brett, do you know if the stock fittings on the 99+ trucks are simple NPT threads or a special connector type?
If NPT, I could just go aftermarket; or even cut the tube, flare and use a AN to flare adapter I guess.

never got that far buddy.

but by the looks of it for him he just swaped the stock adaptors in and installed. and those are quick clip fittings in his setup via the pics.
