Lol, how do you edit posts again???:eek1:

I am pretty good at drinkin' beer in a law chair staring at an old 1st gen though..:pimp:

I prefer sitting in 1st gen seat to drink my beer and stare at my old 1st gens.

Should i post the pic again?:doah:

You do have that pic blown up and framed, correct??

I'd have that classic photo above the fireplace for everyone to see..especially my wife..:thumb:

Ha Ha...Maybe i should get on that.

There is just something about these old trucks that tend to inspire sitting, drinking and thinking more than they inspire actual work.

P.S. Your sliders....I love em.

Thanks Dave..:waytogo:

I just got some new stickers from SBD to stick on the beer fridge. Now I can drink beer, staring at the 1st gen while getting my beer from the SBD beer fridge. :haha:

I'll never get anything done now...:doah:

At that rate you should get to work on your kegerator. Just sayin...

Sometimes I lay down underneath it on the garage floor and stare at it from that angle too... I do a lot of "building" in my head from that vantage point; figuring out the cage mounts, sliders, link mounts, crossmembers, hidden battery trays, hidden subwoofer boxes, etc. etc.

Try to drink a beer lying flat on your back like that though.... I've nearly drowned a few times!

I'm not worthy of such greatness..

I can't imagine how much money I'd save from all of my friends that stop by.:woot:

Then I thought that they'd never leave.....:doah:

= no kegerator at Mike's  :rotfl:

Ha ha, I do the same thing, sometimes before I get started I roller under it on teh creeper and I end up sitting there for a while looking at different stuff thinking what exactly I am going to do. And beverages don't help.

Keep up the good work Mike, it looks awesome, you too Greg, whenever you get a chance to use those coupons! :D

I missed this last night, seen it this morning when Heath quoted it. The last line had tears running down my face reading it off my phone on the way in to work. :p:

My boy actually caught me doing about a mile worth of laps around the K5 a couple of weeks ago. He was out in the driveway playing basketball. He shouted up to the garage, asking what I was doing. I didn't even realize that I had spent a good hour walking in circles. We both got a good laugh out of it. :haha:

A couple weeks before that, I almost fell asleep checking out the drivers side slider. I was laying down with my head resting on one of the swamper lugs, taking a couple of photos and looking up for some time. I was beat from a full weekend thrash on the rig and possibly had a couple of runs to the beer fridge throughout the day too. :doah: Once I woke from my trance, I knew it was time to close the garage door.

Good times....:haha:

Thanks Heath for the props. This weekend should be a good one. :waytogo:

Not much of an update, as you guys have already seen the drivers side. But, I almost have the pass side done. :D I thought that it would go so much faster on the pass side because I've done it before, right. I was wrong.. :doah:These things are just a stupid amount of work..:eek1:

I didn't get to the tube on the bottom yet, maybe this week. Hopefully I can finish both sides, a couple of tubes in the cage and then start with the tranny and doubler mount. :woot:

Here are a couple of pics from this weekend.

Man that looks great! Wish I had some metal skills. Are you running a shim on the 14 bolt? If so what degree did you go with? thanks
