Hey just read your whole thread, your work is great i was just talking about starting a project like this. I will definitely be poking my head around to see progress. . . keep up the good work

Great color! that's what I sprayed. Looks amazing in the sun.[/quote]

Cool Pete, I hope mine turns out as good as yours bud.

I like it!!!

Me too. I just don't want this thing turning into a big tiger stripped machine, because I'm picking a color/system that is way over my head.

overstatement of the year. lol
good to see some progress again.

She took it rather well. Being married for the last 16 years and pretty much always being self employed, she is use to me making dumb decisions on the spot. It did feel great to be in the shop again. Can't wait till after work to weld up that rocker.

Thanks Man. :thumb: Don't/ Didn't really know how to do this type of stuff at all. Watched a lot of Paul's and Greg's threads to help me out. Oh, I watched a ton of this guy too. He sure does swear a lot, but seams to know what is going on.

And it looks like he started another page.

I must have missed it. What bender did you get? how much?

Sorry Dude, forgot to post back. I ended up ordering the Protools 105hd. I got it from TMR Customs. He is on Pirate and offers a 10% discount too. I think when it was all said and done with the $200.00, it came out to ~$850.00.

Neat, first multi quote. :thumb:

I was amazed when i first learned it also. Yesterday i learned how to to turn any word into a link. So my sig line now has a link to my thread.

I am not what you would call Internet savy. It was a year on CK5 before i figured out what the hell a "noob" was

Not really an update, but wanted to say good bye to my build buddy in this thread. He had been up in the garage with my pretty much the entire time during this project. Never bitched that I spent to much time in the garage, just wanted to hang out with me.

See ya later bud. Going to miss ya.

No way. So sorry for your loss Mike. One of our cats got out yesterday and that's bad enough. I can't imagine losing my buddy Jake (my chocolate lab) right now. Sorry to hear that brother.

Again, Very sorry for your loss. I dont know what I would do If I lost my dog. I know it will happen some time, But I still dont know. Sorry bud.

R.I.P Romulus

sorry to hear it man. I had to put my old english mastif down last year, so I feel for ya. these big dogs just don't live as long as we'd like. :(

Rest in Peace Romulus..... :frown1:

I am becoming increasingly aware that my time with my own "garage buddy" is rapidly coming to a close, it's a heartbreaking realization and I'm doing everything I can to appreciate our final days together.

Hang in there Mike.

Thanks Guys.

I thought it was only fitting to put up a couple pics of him in this thread.

I hear ya Bud. They might not live as long as the little ankle bitters, but I would never get another breed besides a Mastiff.

I have seen a picture of your garage buddy lately. He looks pretty comfortable sitting out there with you. The one thing that I can tell you is, take more pics. Kinda sucks that I have around 800 pics so far of the build and only a handful of Rom. I wish that I would have just turned the camera around a couple more times. :(

I've got a couple thousand photos of him, but even that will be a poor substitute for his companionship and the funny little ways he makes me laugh every day. A great dog really does become just like family....And they are always sorely missed.

:usaflag:

Really sorry to hear. A dog is way more then a pet. My Thai ridgeback "Alpha" is my son and is only 10 months and I already think about what I am going to do with out him. He brings a smile to my face every day even if he just finished eating a part of my freshly painted wall.

Rest well Romulus

Damn. Sorry to hear about the dog.

Thank You.

He brings a smile to my face every day even if he just finished eating a part of my freshly painted wall.

Thank You Too.

That quote brought a smile to my face. I have no clue how many shoes he ate of my wife's when he was a pup. Or, how many damn BBQ dinners that I had just put on the counter after grilling that went into his big ass mouth. That is the one bad thing about having a dog where his head is taller than the countertops. We eventually learned, but he did get his share of steak dinners. :doah: :o

hahaha yea mine may not be that tall but he can jump extremely high, my wife found him like this when he was about 5 or 6 months old.

Sorry again, He sure deserves a place on this build thread, thats for sure.

Cant Imagine what I will do when my 3yr old Boxer, Rambo, goes. That big idiot is the best friend you could ask for. Doesnt matter how many shoes he eats, meals he steals, etc...
