Figured, I "Might As Well" pretend that I'm gonna paint this Beyotch soon.. :haha:

Even before I got to your statement below the picture, I was thinking, oh wow he must be planning on doing some painting soon. :D:D

Back out to the garage with ya then.

Thanks Man. It is pretty cool that it hit over the 1k/50k marks. Just goes to show ya how much the brotherhood will help a guy out.

Next time that you're in the area, you gotta stop by. :deal:

Thanks Brother.... :waytogo: Glad that you like the build so far. :pimp:

And a pic that I put up on FB last night. The grill hasn't been on this rig for 2+ years. I believe that someone even said that it looked like a Prius.. :tongue1:

That is by far my favorite first gen grille. Love the bowtie on the hood with the big Chevrolet bar!

looking good man! every once in awhile it's good to stand back and get a look at where it's headed. this thing is gonna be saaaweeet when you're finished!

A lot of first time things happened within the last couple of weeks.

Like......getting it out of the garage for the first time in 2 years.. :woot:

I bought some rims and rollers for 60 bucks on Sat. morning and rolled it out. That is, with the help of my DD. The incline of my driveway would have had this a block away with out it. :doah:

picture time.. man this felt great..

and finally took the top off. Really excited about this. I fixed the cage some before she left the garage by lowering the C's by a 1/4" to give me some more room. Now I can figure out the wiring and get this welded up.

and a request by Greg to do another engine run without it in the garage. I think the timing is off a little. We took out the Dizzy a month ago and put it in the friends 69 for a hunting run.

I did run into a little trouble with the new tierod though. I think that she is a little long. It says 51 3/4" but even with the ends in all the way, there is still a cant to the front wheels.

Over all a cool weekend. I put her back up in the garage last night. 2' back, jack up the front, straiten up the front wheels, then back 2' again. It was wash and repeat all the way up.

It's great to take a break once in awhile and just get it outside so you can stand back and look at it from a distance. It gives you a chance to visualize where you are going. I can't wait to see this baby finished and sitting on some red rock in moab!

Love your blazer Mike! :thumb:

One quick? What color is it going to be when your ready to piant it.
After all the pics it seems like it should stay green...like Dave`s. :haha:

So much win! Well done sir

Thank ya, Sir...

You know it, Ash. Just having it out was great and being able to stand back and look at the opened up wheel openings and such was great. It's tough when you're always 2 feet way.

Do you think that my tow system will work all the way to Moab?? :haha:

Thanks Dean.. :waytogo: I can't leave it green though. I need to see this all the way through. Plans have always been to paint it House of Kolor's..Tangelo.

:saweet::saweet:

That thing is going ot be bad@$$ when you get it done.

OH YEAH! That color is going to look great! :thumb:

OH MY.

:eek1:

Favorite color ever to paint something.

That is going to look amazing

That color rocks

Love the color!

Well, I think that we have a winner on the Color...:haha:

Now if I can just have Ryoken talk me through it enough to where comes out something like that... we should be good. :D

Afraid there won't be any real updates this weekend. Blew out my knee this week. Worked a couple of hours last night welding up the Swag 20 ton press bender until I had a tear running down my face. Had to call it a night then. Tried this morning, got the front clip off, getting ready to rock some tube and had to call it again. sigh,,, this sucks :(

I think that this one is really going slow me up for a bit.

that sucks bro, but look on the bright side... that gives the rest of us time to catch up! lol

How did you manage that? Rest up and get healthy then hit it hard again! Hopefully it starts feeling better soon bud.
