I just don't know when I'll ever be able to order my damn seats. Seems that something always comes up and drains the truck fund in one fashion or the other.

Compressor STB on Fathers day. Had one of my guys over and he ended up getting it working with a little electrical magic. (Bailing wire)... :doah:

Figured this would be a great time to order up the Quincy that I've wanted. The old one should get me through the next week or so until the new one gets here.

Pretty excited to get the Quincy and not need to wait for air from now on.

Ooh, fancy! Sucks that you had to spend the money on it now, but it'll be nice for a long time :pimp:

yup, very happy with mine/same.. should have turned it on for ya for a volume check.. :doah: the 2 stage wasn't as quite as i hoped, but it's 1000x's better than the screaming banshee oiless...

and it will keep up with anything in the shop easily... you can DA full bore for hr's... blasting it does pretty damn well too...

Yeah, yeah...kinda fancy. I did a lot of reading over on Pirate about the IR this morning and I just couldn't drop the coin on one. Even though it was about $400 cheaper. They just don't sound like they are the same machine that they once were. :dunno:

Hopefully this will last a good long time. :thumb:

Funny thing is, 10 seconds after I hit the confirm, my wife said the dryer is not working. :doah:

Maybe if she waits 10 days, I can air dry them, real quick like. :pimp: :haha:

I did a little read through on all of the compressor threads this morning. Your posts, once again, are why I ended up with one. :thumb:

You didn't have to post that on here... You could've told everybody that you made her wash stuff in the river, or that you built a dryer out of scrap steel and an oxy acetylene torch...

No matter what, we all know you'd be fixing that before any more garage time :D

Well I haven't fired up my quincy yet. Gotta get the motor wired and a couple of other new pieces. But my is from the 50s and it appears the pump is in great working order.

So it should last a good long while

Now that the dryer is fixed, I was able to push forward on a couple of things.

Saturday was spent on the front end bumper stuff. That is really turning into something else. All day it was about detaching and re-setting the bumper along with the plates to make it sit true. Nothing pic worthy there. Just made some more progress without getting a single tube bent. :doah:

Sunday I didn't want to play with the front end at all, so I pushed forward with this. Coming along OK. It's fun bending tube, when it's not for the endless project. :D

Don't worry about the bottom of the rack. That was a failed try with stuff that I had laying around. Since then I have built it out of 3/8' plate that will work a ton better.

sometimes it's fun to build something with a lot less pressure to get it perfect, or just something besides on the rig for a change of pace. looks like that rack is going to be pretty nice.

you western guys make me envious....just leave tools bolted to the concrete outside....FFS my **** would seize up in a couple days.
Hell, my vehicles most all have rusty rotors on them because they don't get driven everyday WTF?
Humid as hell here today, as storms rolled through last night and brought much needed rain, but now it will be humid again for a couple days at least.
