Curious how you're going to isolate the aluminum fuel line so the vibrations don't chew through the sidewall

The holes that I drilled really left no room for slop around the fuel line. I had to really work it into those holes. 1" in, bend, 1" in, bend.... rinse repeat. It was a pain to get them in both upper and lower hole at the same time plus slip the tube over, but I eventually got it by slipping a round file in a hole a made in the rectangle area, through the cage tube and out the bottom side into the fuel line. I hope it works with out rattles. If not, I'll just step on the skinny panel till I can't hear it anymore. :D

Sprayfoam obviously....

I honestly am curious if high heat fireplace caulking around the intersections would hold. It might drip right out during welding? I think most of it is good for 2000 degrees, though??

That's a real thing on unibody cars.

After fab and before paint prep, some builders will use a two-part rapidly expanding foam in rockers. It alledgedly adds torsional stiffness, probably reduces some in-cabin noise, and definitely keeps water out and internal rust to a minimum.

The NOS decal crows uses Great Stuff to a lesser effect.

So awesome to see you progressing again.

You're going to need to find a way over to Tacoma this summer. That way you can hop in Sean's rig and drive down. It sure was nice of you guys to volunteer to help on the rig, whether you knew that you did already is inconsequential to me. See ya soon. :flipoff7:

Ps. If your head still hurts I'll massage it with some 60 grit and DA while you eat cookies. That still leaves one hand open so I can drink beer. :D Lol
