I do that a lot, sorry. Hopefully after the long weekend I can post something that will change your mind??? ;)

Today was a planned dump trailer repair day. Shackles, bolts, trusses...etc.

It wasn't too long before I realized this was something that my partner and one of the guys could accomplish without me. So, I put my time in up at the garage. :D

I worked on the beginning of the rear, hidden wire, cage Led's. I think I like what today produced??

Pics

Started out with a little dimple to see how the new lights would sit.

Started to make some junction box stuff.

If I still dig it tomorrow, I'll weld up the other side and see what it all look like, just kinda hanging there.

Whatcha think about throwing stuff up there? Ruin the lines....or function over form? :waytogo:

Maybe some longer bolts? :haha:

I like the concept. Where is this curved LED panel actually located? I can't really get the big picture from all the closeup shots...

No kidding on the bolts, huh? Lol They tie in with the console, as I used the same guys for holding the panels.

It's the complete rear of the cage. I'm grillin' now, so can't post bigger pics. Gimme a bit. :)

Neat idea, I really like the lights. How bright are they? As far as breaking up the lines I suppose you wreck the integrity of the cage if you sink a light into the existing roll cage? What about creating a dead part of the cage just to house the lights but still keep the lines clean and aesthetically pleasing?

If all works out okay, I already have a chase tube of 1/2" running through the C" pillars. Hopefully no wire will be seen or zip ties needed. :)
