Ryoken, what brand paint are you using the most? IIRC it was hot rod something. Or what brand do you suggest?

I know my buddy wants to possibly use Chromabase on the body, but I don’t think that I need to drop that kind of coin on the frame and such.

Ps.... trying to keep paint questions to a minimum. Lol

What an awesome weekend just thrashing on the Blazer. Before I blow it all apart, I wanted to bolt everything together without the tub. I wanted to see how it all looked, and I knew it would be the only time left to do the final mods. Trim cage plates, finish welding and such. Movin’ forward, guys. :waytogo:

Pics :D

Needs the angry eyebrow windshield bar to be an east coast bouncer. lol

Nice work, could almost run with no body on it...

What seats are those? I may have to get some if my daily drivers don't feel comfortable.

Thanks everyone. Been visualizing those pics for a lot of years. :)

Those are great pics Mike! Really shows all the work you have done over the years in one post. Very cool! :waytogo:

It really does. Pretty cool to be able to see almost all of the fab work in one shot. :wink1:

Looking good dude, but who is that Hobbit with the blue koolaide sitting in your royal chair??:haha::haha::haha::haha:

Dude, I go from work boots, to flip flops to bare foot in a second up here in the garage. Half of all the work was done this weekend with flip flops or nothing. :tongue1: :haha:

Dang that's a fock-ton of tube. Almost looks like one of them East coast rock bouncers...

Congrats! Top notch work as always! :waytogo:

Thanks...Just remember.... this is all a product of CK5. When I first came here I really didn't even want a cage. Hell, I couldn't even weld.

Now look at me.

A tube junkie, always looking for my next cope. :doah: :haha:

They are the PRP recliners with heat. I was afraid that if the cooler was in the back with the cookies and I couldn't reach them, that would be a build fail. Now I can just recline back and grab a handful. Nom nom....:D

I was just looking at it after reading your text this morning. First of all, I want @ryoken to say that it's not snake oil. lol

Desert Truck guys have been beating on this stuff for years. It’s weldable too... not that I would do that except in an emergency. Baja1000 type abuse seems to be no issue. But it’s like $20+ per can and it takes a LOT of it to cover correctly.

You will save on paintshop labor but the material costs will certainly be higher than traditional rattlecan paints.

....and another 100% vodka??

Sounds like a solid weekend game plan.
