Sigh. Another 1800 post thread to read. Best get started! Sucks the pictars are blocked by work :( Means I have to read it twice!

Sorry about the wipeout and getting gibbled BTW! Glad you're still with us :) I knew you'd been injured but I wasn't sure how or what happened

Its a good one Russ! Just finished reading it earlier this week :thumb:

Did you really mention my little truss in this thread of fabtasticness. :dunno:

I don't know what to say  lol

But that is exactly how I'd build the antiwrap bar if my sf had the front flange to fab off of. But I was stupid and didn't get a big boy axle lol.

Funny.

What fun would it be on a fully custom truck to bolt on a set of off-the-shelf headers?

It's a weird feeling chopping up brand new parts (I've done that for brand new headers and expensive Blazer bedsides...) but you gotta do what you gotta do! :waytogo:

Can't wait to see the vids of this bada$$ 496 idling and growling!

After driveshafts, what's left on the punch list to get it driving? :dunno:

It is a weird feeling for sure chopping up new parts. Looking very good, hope you heal up fast.

Hey Frankenwrist.....

How about an update? :deal:

Need some video/sound clips of the new exhaust.

Yes I`m drinking!!! :doah:

Is that ever really a question? :D

I'll post up a list here this morning if I get enough time. Lots of little things, along with some big things left too.

Sorry Russ. I thought loading them up in PB would give everyone a chance to look at the pics. Hopefully it's a good read, twice, for ya. :dunno: :waytogo:

Thanks Jess.

Thanks for the info....and why wouldn't I? Your fab work is starting to look pretty damn nice.

That's an understatement right there.

He likes to drink and post.. It's fun for all of us when he does.

Chopping up new stuff is almost the norm now.

As Greg always says...... Custom is Custom.. :D

Once you start on that road, there just ain't room to turn back.

She isn't done yet. Hopefully today. I really haven't pushed these guys, being half of it is kinda a favor type deal.

:haha::haha: That pictures of his wrist looks quite painful.

This one??

or this one?

:D

Hopefully I can get you guys a vid here real soon. I can't wait to hear it too..

I also have some hydroboost questions, too. Ash, Z.... been through both of your threads a lot lately and it seems all that really needs to be done is lengthen the rod and clip one of the corners, is that about it?

I just bought this system not too long ago off here.

Pretty much. It's insanely easy compared to what you've done so far. You'll have no problems. When you're ready feel free to hit me up for any info or pics you might need.

Looks awesome Mike, gonna be a cool scar. :D

AJ stole my damn post...:angry1:

Thanks man. I'm going to blast it first, maybe do a little Ryoken smooth jober on it, then she will be ready to go in. I'll hit ya up when I'm closer. :waytogo:

Chicks dig scars. Plain and simple.

Post stealer, you...:whistle::D

Well she is mostly in and I thought I had video of her running.

Unfortunately, I'm too dumb to push the correct button, tho. Sorry.

I'll grad another one tomorrow when we pick her up and head up to HAD.

So I have photos for now.

Note the shorter header. :waytogo:

It does sound really nice tho. Not loud at all, like I had hoped. :woot:

We did run into one small problem tho. The pass side was smoking at first...no big deal, it's just the new paint on it from the surgery......well it got worse as we cranked on it a bit...huh?

Note to self... make sure the dipstick is back in the pan before starting...:haha:

Yup, that has been done before.:doah::haha:

Exhaust looks great! really like how it came out.

wow, really stuffed in there!
looks like good work.

I think it came out really nice for the area it had to fit in. At first I wasn't sure about the "under tranny tube", but after looking at it some more, it was the best bet. It keeps everything as far away from the floor as possible and will still be protected by the doubler mount thing.

Pretty excited to cut out of work early to see the last bit of tube bent up and sent out behind the rear wheels. I ended up bringing my huge gas tank over just to make sure that everything will still work back there once I get to fabbing up the mounts.

Here is to a good day...:woot:

Deadly!

Your guy Glen King did a great job! :waytogo:

You might want to polish that trans pan though...looks kinda sh!ty! :doah: :D:haha:

I agree, Glenn and his boy did a badass job. I'm very happy with it. :waytogo:

I only have a couple of minutes before I need to leave to head down to Sac. for hopefully my last surgery. But, yesterday went pretty awesome. :woot:

Exhaust is done and the rig finally made it up to see Jess.

Here are the pics and vid from the day.
