Figured I would start a new thread for this one. This blazer I am building for a kid named Ryan, currently just 15 but a good kid and his family is really close.. I love building these things, but most people know my track record when it comes to keeping them nice
figure I dig into to a full frame off tear down and teach him from the ground up.
found this turd on wheels for the frame 350, sm465 and 205, I don't plan to use the body do to rust in areas I don't feel like repairing and there are to many clean tubs around..
78 blazer 500.00
check out the sweet paint and the radiator mounts..
the plan is to make this a 5-6 inch lifted full convertible caged blazer on 3/4 ton 4.10 geared and 38's and a nice paint job.
traded a t-350 trans I had for some 4.10 3/4 tons.. so that's figured out.
he really liked the old 86 I had and might even want the same color, I decided just to buy the tub back, mainly for the cage. 350.00
I am torn on weather or not to use this tub and replace the sheet metal, or get another one.
