I want to remove all of my a/c crap. I don't use it and it's in the way. What do I need to do to make up for the belt length and the routing of the serpentine. Will I need to install an extra idler pully.

easiest thing is just leave the compressor there as an idler. it's a lot of dead weight that could be disposed of, though.

there is an a/c delete pulley that you can get, most good auto parts stores should be able to get one for you.

if you havn't already when you hit up the auto parts place it wouln't hurt to see if there is an a/c delete belt available as some vehicles have 2 belts available 1 for a/c and 1 for non a/c
