I need help on where to hook up the A/C Vacuum line from the Controller inside the cab to the outside source. I have a 1985 K5 with a 6.2L Diesel that has the Vacuum Pump on the back of the engine.
I had a lot of engine work done and the have all the Emission lines routed as well as the Cruise Control line.
My problem is I have no idea where the A/C Vacuum line should attach. I think the shop that I had the work done forgot to include something. Although the A/C was out, I am replacing all the components and know I need the Vacuum source.
The engine does not have a "Ball" like the gas engines or a canister like the later ones have. .
If anyone can send me a picture of where the lines goes I would appreciate it tremendously . I have looked in the service mauals and researched on line and it comes down to needing someone who has one sharing a picture of where and what I need.
The pictures below show my A/V Vacuum line on the firewall with Blue Tape, the Vacuum Pump is bright and shiny as the POD was just replaced along with new vacuum hoses to the EGR / EPR / Cruise Control.
Thanks !!
