Is this on your '90 K-5? Do you have a Serpentine belt system? If so you'll need to get an AC Delete Pulley, which will replace the compressor. Removing the condesor, dryer, & hoses..... I would like to buy you hoses if it a serpentine system.
Just remove the components that you don't want... You may want to plug everything just incase you end up putting it back in or sell the parts...

How expensive is R-12 anyways,,, anyone know? I know thats one reason i ditched mine, i didnt want to pay to recharge it
