my a/c was working right when i purchaced the vehicle it started to get worse and worse until it would just screach when i turned it on. I then rebuilt the engine and forgot about it. a couple wires were ruined. I have a harrison aftermarket compressor but looks the same i was wondering if anyone knew how many wires should go to the compressor i can only find one. Any suggestions would be appretiated.

one wire (hopefully the one you found) is green that wire has power, the other one should be black and it just goes to ground. That's how it was on my 78, should be similar.
