no pictures of those rust issues either. I hate when people do that.
Agreed, as "rust issues" on a K5 can be significantly more of a minefield than on a newer rig. For all we know the floor pans and rockers are rusted out and being held together by carpet.

Probably it's the lousy economy prompting guys to sell 'em to raise cash, combined with the one eBayer who paid over $21 grand for Chalet #1385, about twice what it was worth. That sort of things gets random used car dealers into the game, where they snap these up and transfer 'em around amongst each other, and then they end up in the hands of some private sale guy who has a rough time unloading 'em on anyone else except yet another dealer.
For example, serial #1741 started out in Napa CA for a bit under $8 grand and then bopped its way back east and down to Florida, changing hands at least 4 times, now it's back in CA marked up to $21 grand with now just the 'internet, plasma TV, theater sound system' added to it.
Don't forget the "factory winch" and "factory air compressor" they must be worth at least 20 of the 21 $$
