Does anyone know if the 260 hp crate motor from GM has a pilot bushing already on it and if I forgot to put it what kind of bad stuff can happen if any at all?

if it came with a flexplate than it doesn't have a pilot bushing, if it didnt come with anything at all, it probably doesn't have a pilot bushing. not having a pilot bushing means that the nipple on the main shaft of the tranny is not seating properly in the crank shaft. it may cause the mainshaft and/or crank to wear, and i think it causes premature clutch wear too. get someone elses opinion before you go off on a tangent, i'm only 19. but i am pretty sure i read that somewhere...
