Okay some of you may remember I bought a cam for my 454 a while back and asked for recommendations. I have a bit more cash than I thought I would for getting the rest of everything, the short block is in pretty good shape, no full rebuild right now.
So questions are normal parts store water pump or brand new one (tuff stuff brand from summit) probably just going to get a steel one no need for fancy stuff on this motor. High flow or normal, I am leaning towards the high flow ones but have never used one before so just looking for some input. Remember this is for a crew cab dually that will see tow duty.
I also want to do some ignition mods, just a better module and stuff pretty much this stuff http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PNX-D8000/.
Hopefully I can get my 781 heads done and just put them on this motor. Gonna have to call in a favor on that one though.
