I have a 86 k30 srw I am going to do the disc brake conversion on the rear but I was just told that the one ton front discs are different than the 3/4. Is there a difference and what is it? do I have to use 3/4 ton discs in the back? Thanks

you need the 3/4 ton rotors and calipers.

1 ton rotors are 1.5" thick and the 3/4 ton are 1.25" thick. You need the 3/4 ton and then you use either 1/2-3/4 ton calipers or the caddy eldo calipers if you want to retain an e-brake. The calipers will not fit over the 1 ton rotors.
