I was walking through the junkyard last week and came across this very interesting spacer on an 88' K1500 truck out there!

Notice the sweet "homemade" linkage! :haha:

Environmentally friendly!

Does it say "throttle" on it in sharpie?

I have seen spacers like that back in the pro-am dirt track days.

I suppose it's really a TB to carb adapter. Obviously a HI-PO, low heat-soak design.

Hey that's LAMINATED ....good for bearing more weight and won't rot if it gets wet:waytogo: at least it isn't particle board :haha:

I've saw lift blocks made out of wood in Pennsy once..

The reason it says throttle on it is,,,,, if you look close,, you can see a few reliefs cut into the wood to clear the linkage.....
you wood not ( pun intended) want to bolt it on backwards now.......wood you ?

:haha:
