A "different kind" of TB spacer!

I was walking through the junkyard last week and came across this very interesting spacer on an 88' K1500 truck out there!

Notice the sweet "homemade" linkage!

I have seen spacers like that back in the pro-am dirt track days.

I suppose it's really a TB to carb adapter. Obviously a HI-PO, low heat-soak design.

Hey that's LAMINATED ....good for bearing more weight and won't rot if it gets wet at least it isn't particle board

Right, but the thread title said TB spacer. Didn't want there to be any confusion. Ya know, in case anyone was thinking of building one.

The reason it says throttle on it is,,,,, if you look close,, you can see a few reliefs cut into the wood to clear the linkage.....
you wood not ( pun intended) want to bolt it on backwards now.......wood you ?
