a few hydro-assist questions..

Im getting ready to put hydro assist on my 44 ...the truck is street/trail....what kit/ram do you guys recomend???also what size and stoke??also what rams to stay away from???

i read that whole article already...almost everyone had kits...this was more for people who put there own kit togher...also i asked what would work best for my setup..

with a double acting ram do you mount the ram in the center then tie each side to the tie rod???most of the ones i have seen were single acting..

Double acting means(my understanding) it is under pressure in both direction's.It dont just bleed off in one direction and push in the other direction. Only one end moves.

does that mean if it has a 8 inch stroke it really only has a 4 inch???

It has eight inches of stroke in both directions.

single acting rams usually have some type of return and only push or pull. it would make you steer in one direction great. Double acting means they push and they pull
