I ended up bending some of my armor and loosing the power steering. All in all, it was a fun local trip. Here they are in no particular order. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I actually bent the right rear armor in! But it does let you take some nasty lines. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I have the parts for the doubler but now I might have to find a ford 203 to try to clock everything right to get a flat bellypan. I was going to look at some setups at BB04 and figure out what I'm going to for there. It might wait untill after I link up the rear. That is in the works for this winter. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
woah! you have some neat plans for your k5 /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif
Yeah i've been reading your post in the ORD forum about getting it flat... interesting post /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
What size of tube is that you used for the bodyarmor?
The outside armor is 1 3/4" O.D x.218 wall. sch. 80 pipe and the Cage is 1 3/4" O.D.x.120 wall HREW tubing. The cage bolts to the floor and also goes through to the frame. I've come down pretty hard on the sliders a few times and I've peeled some metal off of them but I've never dented them.
I like it too,cool truck /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Looking good Sandman...is that rig still street legal? I wouldnt think so with the tires sticking out so much, but you still have the back plate on it so i dont know..either way /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif that is a AWESOME rig
Look close at the fifth picture down. The front wrap around armor has a support that goes in towards the engine compartment. I don't know how the back is supported. You'll have to wait for sandman to see this post.
