I ended up bending some of my armor and loosing the power steering. All in all, it was a fun local trip. Here they are in no particular order. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Your rig rules! awesome pics! I forgot... what are the specs? /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Thanks!

Well lets see.....

52" springs up front, shackle lift in back, 1" body lift.

39.5" TSL's

1 ton axles with 5:13's (the last answer to everything)

Th350 to a 205 and a built 454 with Holley Fuel injection.

Skinned out the front to loose some weight and its real fun to drive around. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

awesome! I love your body armor and bumper!
[hijack] hows the doubler project coming along? [hijack off]

I actually bent the right rear armor in! But it does let you take some nasty lines. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have the parts for the doubler but now I might have to find a ford 203 to try to clock everything right to get a flat bellypan. I was going to look at some setups at BB04 and figure out what I'm going to for there. It might wait untill after I link up the rear. That is in the works for this winter. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

woah! you have some neat plans for your k5 /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif
Yeah i've been reading your post in the ORD forum about getting it flat... interesting post /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

What size of tube is that you used for the bodyarmor?

The outside armor is 1 3/4" O.D x.218 wall. sch. 80 pipe and the Cage is 1 3/4" O.D.x.120 wall HREW tubing. The cage bolts to the floor and also goes through to the frame. I've come down pretty hard on the sliders a few times and I've peeled some metal off of them but I've never dented them.

Looking good Sandman...is that rig still street legal? I wouldnt think so with the tires sticking out so much, but you still have the back plate on it so i dont know..either way /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif that is a AWESOME rig

I gotta ask, what was the jeep thinking...or what happened?

Does not apear like that toyota would pull him free from the pic too.

What was the result of it? Just seemed crazy or pointless from the pic..or was it an accident?

Also who did you hire as a camera man..or did you get a new camera /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Have a question for you about the armor...

I see that it mounts up near the front bumper, then just follows along the lines to the sliders. Same idea with around the rear fender.

Without any other bracing all that way... doesnt it bend on the first hit of 'something'?

damn, sweet ass truck. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Look close at the fifth picture down. The front wrap around armor has a support that goes in towards the engine compartment. I don't know how the back is supported. You'll have to wait for sandman to see this post.

I Cant see anything from the turn siganl area to the door opening. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Am I blind or what? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
