1) Is a 1989 blazer w/o motor, tranny, or front clip worth $500? I want it for the rearend which has just been gone through and re-geared to 3.73. It also has all the glass, tinted back windows, a REALLY clean interior, and new stock size tires on stock aluminum rims. The truck got the frame tweaked in a head on with a tree stump and the guy wants to keep the motor and tranny.

2) What is the b.s. on stock aluminum rims? Will they still fit 31's and not look goofy?

Thanks for any replies.

ive seen 31s on stock aluminums . looks ok.i like at least 33s on my rigs.500 is ok .it is only worth what your willing to pay.if you need most of the other stuff go for it.

i wouldnt bother to much hassle. the rear end is only a 10 bolt, you can find 14 bolts for cheap. i wouldnt do it, there are better deals to be found.

The only problem with a 14 bolt is i would have to do something with the front too. I am not looking to lift it or if i do it'll only be a couple of inches and 33's max. Trying to stay fairly stock with dd and mild offroading. I like the look of 33's so it's mean but still practical for driving around.
