usually you want about 35 to 45 degrees with all the weight in the truck iirc... not only will you have very little droop, but a harsh ride...

are they flipped the right way? if so, move it forward till good and redrill...

the flip bracket i thought has 2 settings i thought one for 52s and the other to do 56s i have the smaller part to the front for the 52s since i have stock rear springs....am i right ? help me out here thanks a bunch.. my rear springs are stock with the overload removed and a leaf added..

the trucks a few miles away stored in a garage.. they aim slightly rear ward but not sure they are 35 degrees...

with the 6inch shackles i had way too much lift even with the overload removed, i had to redrill them to 4inch , would the 4.5 long shackle help any..? or just make it taller..? i can redrill em 4.5 inches and try it.

I had the same issue when i installed my flip. I dont think its intentional but the flip gives a much better shackle angle for 56in springs than 52s. Just do yourself a favor and swap in some 56's and throw the 52s up front you'll love it.

putting the 56s in the rear sounds good but i have new rear springs now, i might just move the brackets forward and add the overload or use the 6inch shackles to level it out... unless i can get some 56s for a reasonable price. but if i use the 56s tho i guess i have to use a zero rate to put the rear where it needs to be..am i thinking that right..?

No 56's dont move a rear axle at all unless you flip them the other way.

Take your new rear springs and put them in the front, wahlah 4" all around or throw some zero rates and shackles in for 5.5"

i cant do that, i have new 8inch front springs, u bolts, shocks and my x-over is 4 my 8inch also, ill just move my flip hangers forward to get my shackle angle...i try to keep the 8inch on since it works good offroad and doesnt interfere with the body, i dont wana hack it, i have all new body pannels for the cab....

Yeah your body styling with the newer stepside is exactly what I would rock were I to build a nice flatblack street truck :)

it will prob stay black but not sure what to do, i wana do hotrod black(satin), i dont wana make it to nice since i wana be able to use it. also like to bump the tire size to atleast 39s. i think ill just move the brackets forward a lil and either use a zero rate, the overload or my 6inch shackles...

Just moving the rear hangar will not change your axle centerline! That should be some good news for you. :D

i thought it wouldnt move the axle centerline but it will lower the rear a lil, ill prodb use the zero rate or my overload to level it back out... if i use the 6in shackles it will push my shaft farther
