I got around to painting my wheels, installing my nicely machined JKW 7* shims, and putting on the rear shocks.. I also zip tied my brake lines to my shocks, but the pic is kinda crappy. I'm am completely done with the lift except for bleeding the brakes, which hopefully I will get to do soon. I'm still debating between building a power bleeder, or trying my luck with speed bleeders, but I'm leaning toward being lazy and getting some speed bleeders tomorrow :deal:

ah yeah, and hopefully I'll buy some rattle cans to paint the body in soon. My girlfriend is telling me the orange I tested out, but I'm strongly leaning toward the camo :D

Are those shims in backwards?

he he, I was waiting for that qusetion...

the echobit waaaay overcompensated and pointed my pinion too high for my wheelbase, causing some funky angles... settled on running the 7* shim to point it down at the advise of Jess at HAD (who is very awsome by the way  )

78Suburban -

I thought I'd let you know I've appreciated all the posts you've made in the course of your lift project, especially the pictures. I started my first lift project about the same time as you, and it seems as though every time I had trouble, you had already asked the same question earlier in the day and had recieved very good, complete answers. Those who replied to your questions deserve praise as well, as I'm certain these posts will be usefull to others in the future.

All the folks and the resources on this board are first rate!

Thanks,

SilverMiner

Paint that thing already! Flat black, anything.

And clean up the lawn, young man ! :D

Looks good.

nice job looks mean as shiot man but definatly go with the camo if your using spray paint that orange will look like ass or you could go with the cow paint you already got goin on with that one side there

good job

Looking good waiting on ONE more part and I will be rocking. It is awsome how just as someone is getting ready to start a project on here soeone is finishing and there is lots of info right here ready to go.

James,
Go with winter camo down there. That way you know no one else will have the same paint job as you. :haha: The burb is looking mean.... now you just have to find some Boggers!
