A good and bad day

I picked this up for free!!!

So ive been looking for a dana 60 for the past 4 years. Ive been close to buying a couple, but it never worked out. So my uncle owns a junk yard, but he only does new cars and scrap metal. Some dude brings in a crewcab dually 4x4 for SCRAP. I jacked the axle for no cost. Another day and it would be crushed.

So now I need websites where I can get quality parts for the axle so I can rebuild. Also, I know guys runnin h1 wheels use the DRW, whats the chance that someone will trade me for SRW hubs?

Edit: I was so excited I forgot, the bad part was that we had a hail storm yesterday with softball/golfball sized hail. I now either need a new hood, or dent fixin.

Nice score. I bought most of my stuff from Randy's Ring & Pinion. He has/had good prices when i bought my stuff several years ago.

Nice score, but you should have also grabbed the trans/transfer case. Thats a couple hundred bucks right there. Also PORC is a good place to get axle parts. They are a vendor here as well

I bought all my Kingpin rebuild stuff, wheel seals, bearings, and u-joints through Highhonda on Pirate 4x4. Just PM for prices.

I got

2 Kingpin rebuild kits
2 Spindle rebuild kits
2 oil slingers
2 5-806x U-joints
2 Wheel bearing sets with seals for $310 to my door. I couldnt find a cheaper deal anywhere.

Well, the truck was on top of a car, and had a car on top of it, all of this behind a stack of three cars. With how busy the yard is, I was lucky to get the axle when I did.

I would check the parts wanted section if you are looking to trade your DRW's for SRW's there is usually a couple people looking to trade one way or the other. Shouldn't be all that hard to get rid of them if you are patient.
