A half-ass review of Dupli-Color wheel paint (mainly because I’m drunk)

Long story short (checkout my build thread for the long story), I got tired of my factory rally’s sitting around and not being able to drive my K5. Finally broke the old tires off of them and wire wheeled them down.

This is where the half-ass review comes in... after cleaning them up and wiping them down, I shot the first one with the Dupli-Color Primer Sealer. Waited till it was dry, then hit it with the Dupli-Color High Performance Wheel Coating (normal silver with metal flake). After that was dry I hit it with the Dupli-Color Wheel Gloss Clearcoat. It came alive after that! It gave it more depth and looked so much cleaner!

Anyway, that’s my redneck, half drunk, O’Reilly auto parts review.

Enjoy!

Looks like you came out very good, once you have the beauty rings and their installed then it shpuld look cherry

I had bad luck with that wheel paint once. It turned out with a brownish discoloration too it. I figured it was maybe really old or something like that. I didn't care though on that vehicle and just cleared over it and moved on. I love all duplicolor products. They have the absolute best nozzle for doing rattle can paint jobs.

Dig it! I love duplicolor rattle cans! Their engine enamel is all I use under the hood and suspension parts if I don't sentd to work for powder coat.
