so my blazer has been in storage for 16 months and I started gettin it ready to drive today. today I changed the trans fluid and put on a mag-hytec pan. I also changed the earl and changed the fluid in both diffs. I tried to mount the bracket for my art carr shifter but one of the gussetts on the pan got in the way and I need to do a little grinding. :doah: :grind: i think tomorrow i'm gonna change the wires, plugs, cap, coil, rotor, throw in a new battery, and maybe wire up the tach and trans temp gauge I got. who knows. i'm just gettin excited to get it rollin again.:woot:

Good deal! :waytogo:

Why was it in storage so long?

been in Iraq since august 2005. just got back last week.

Guessed it was something like that.

Well thanks for your service and have fun with the truck! :usaflag:
