saving my texas star dx667v to go behind my galaxy 93t with a predtor 10k for my blazer build it should get me out pretty good lol still saving up for my icom 706 mkII for when i really need help because local hams are more helpful :-)

Cool. That's quite a bit of power to be carrying around. I'll bet you can do all sorts of fun things. :thumb: :pimp:

Spec for the texas star is saying 63 amp current draw. When combined with the other gear that you'll be running, does this require you to look into multiple alternators, or will you just run a single high-capacity alternator? That's pushing the limits of what I would want to add to my stock generating system.

I'll probably run one high amp alternator to a dual battery setup and run a high frad capacitor
