A little help here.

Okay, so I'm looking to buy a "new" truck, "mid" size (v-6). Torn between the big three, but each have thier draw backs, i know i'm talking to chevy guys, but i'd like some impartial opinions, at least regarding manufacturer. I really like the look of the s-10 zr2, but i've heard some bad things about them. I had a full size dodge and had thought about a dakota (last body style), but i've read that no matter what motor, the gas milage is horrible! Clearly the ranger is well built and pretty reliable truck, but it just seems sooo small as compared to the other two, some opinions would greatly appreciated!

how much are you willing to spend and when you say new do you mean no miles or low miles?

Probably willing to spend up to 15 or 16, as new as i can get before i end up with a colorado or the new dakota.

Not at all! I think they are one of the ugliest (aside from the avalanche)thing to come out of chevy!

lol i actually like them. i test drove one and liked the power for the size and the smooth ride. but only as a cheap daily driver with good gas mileage
