a little help please

I know this is CK5 but most everyone here appreciates an off roader,
so I know a guy who wants to sell me a 1960 ish cj5 and a 1979 cj5. Both bodies are horrible the 1960 has a spring over lift and is on bald boggers 4 cyl. that was said to smoke with a bad clutch. The other has no tranny or t case but has a 258 that might run (unknown by owner) these two he wants 500 for both.

what is a good price on a rotten jeep with a title?

What would be the point if both require major repairs just to make driveable?

I was just wanting to build a small rig that does not require an 8' wide trailer bed to tow, and something that can haul 3to 4 people in. face it my other truck will never have those size qualities or run a 4cyl.

Well.........there comes a point where it is only worth what it is worth to you and only you or scrap.

Look close at the frames. Around here, it is almost impossible to find a CJ that the frame is not totally rotted through on. If the frame is junk they are totally worthless.
