My wife and i are building our dream trail rig: our 72 K5 Blazer, but I need help. I'm trying to located a stock style(preferred) swing-away spare tire carriers for the tailgate od the truck. Anyone got one or know where i can locate one? Thanks!

you came to the right place. Are you looking for the pieces or some one to build it for you or some where you can buy it new????
by the way we need Pics of everything LOL

It doesnt really matter. If I could find the peices or a new one great, but if I have to have it built I guess I can go that route too. Thanks!

Yeah I know I need to get some pics up, jus a lil embarassed as the truck is sitting on 4 flat tires and the axles havent been permanently set in place yet. Its a MAJOR project, but we cant wait til we run it the first time!

What size tires are you planning to run? I would suggest skipping the body mounted style, and go for an aftermarket rear bumper of whatever style you prefer, with a bulit in swing away carrier . Can be made to look like the factory swing away, but will be way stronger, and won't tear holes in your body when you overload it.
