It can be hard to find AreaBFE. You can wait in Moab and gather at the Branding Iron restaurant at 8:30 Friday morning to get a guided trip out there (see the Event Schedule page on the website for map to Branding Iron). They also have a video showing how to get there: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKgkObU5kcA&feature=player_embedded&list=FLLFFsYZLaIVQ2EOfD6lKKiQ

AreaBFE also has a FREE AreaBFE Trail Guide App on the Google Play store and they're currently working on the Apple iPhone app. The app has all the information for trails, mapping, links to our sponsors, and you can even donate via paypal directly to AreaBFE from the app.

They are also looking at donating a door prize to give away while we're out there. So look for us to be handing out raffle tickets as you come in and we'll set a time to do the drawing.

The past couple of years AreaBFE has been great, fun location for us to hold the first day of events in Moab. They don't charge us a fee for our use of the park. Blazer Bash has made donations to them in the name of all the participants but please consider dropping an additional donation there at the park in the "donation statue" while we're out there. Just like Blazer Bash, the park is supported by the generosity of people that use the park and others that wish to support "the cause".

A little more from their website:

"AreaBFE is a 320 acre recreational park for many different outdoor activities. The park had been a dream of ours and in April 2004 that dream became a reality for a group of guys who had a vision; “Create a place where people could go without the threat of being kicked-off of a fun little playground and insure that people will always have a place to recreate!” Since then, we have been working to make trails, camping areas and many other fun destination points on the property. This project has reassured our faith in the OHV community and the values these people hold close to their hearts.

We invite you to come and enjoy this place with an open mind to adventure and great times. AreaBFE is open and free to the public 365 days/year. We do however accept donations to assist with the overall upkeep and there’s a donation statue near the entry for those who wish to help support our endeavor. We also host corporate events, club gatherings, competitions, music festivals and weddings to raise money for the park.

The staff at AreaBFE would like to extend the invitation to enjoy this park while visiting Moab, Utah. Please help us out by policing this place on an honorary basis. The more support we get from others like us who have a love for the outdoors, the better we can serve you in providing a fun and hassle free place to play!

Please email [email protected] or call 562-233-6523 with any questions, comments or suggestions."

Can a person camp there? I might tow the Blazer with the Motorhome, need to find a spot to stay.

Yup, camping is allowed and is free. As stated above it is always good to throw a little something in the box.

And there are no amenities like electric or water hookups.

You bet, one of the best wheelin spots in the southwest!!! I drop a 10 spot for every day I'm there, I really appreciate what those guys have done.

Brandon- you run Smashing Pumpkins yet? It's killer, my new fave out there.

FYI, Olaf and crew would like people to camp down in the bottom by the play area BTW.
That's the same area we'll set up with the early registration check-in and safety inspections.

We're trying to see if we can get hooked up with an RTI ramp again; it's not practical to haul mine out there this year.
