I am going wheeling for the first time in a while. I got some new tires and put em on. Last time I went wheeling, I had some less agressive 33's and now I went up another 2 inches and put on some 36's. I am running my stock 10 bolts. I don't plan on romping on it. Just some mild stuff. Any suggestions ? I am about to go to 3/4 ton in a month or so. Would anyone recommend lincoln locking the rear ? I would also appreciate any other advice offered to keep me from breaking anything. Thanks,

-Nick

you getting a 14FF rear? lock it if you are, and leave the front open with the 36's. it'll last longer, if you have a stock 350, you should be fine, dont worry about the 14ff at all, its a monster, the front axle is your weak point, and if you dont install a locker there, you wont have *too* much brakeage to worry about /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

if yer talkin bout welding the 10bolt...u might as well bust out the /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif and cut the axle in half...save yerself the trouble of doin it on the trails...a welded 10 bolt is ASKING to break axles!!
