A little too much antagonizing lately

I have noticed a little more antagonizing and name calling lately, maybe it’s the economy, maybe it’s rising gas prices, maybe some of us haven’t been laid in a while, I don’t know but thought I should address it. I understand that some threads will get off topic at times, it happens but let’s try to respect each other and keep posts on topic as best we can and if they do go a little off topic have a little thicker skin, I’m sure we all have other issues we can focus on. A general rule of thumb, if you wouldn’t say something to someone in person you probably shouldn’t post it in a thread either.

So let’s lay off the Coffee, Mt Dew, Crystal Meth etc. before posting, this is a great community, let’s try to keep it that way.

For the first time in my 10 year history on this site I broke down recently and added someone to my "ignore user" list...

I finally reached my limit with the asshattery.

ive been seeing it more with newer members.it may because they are used to pirate or other sites where it is acceptable to demean other members of the site.i was kinda waiting on seeing this come up steve.sometimes id like to get into it and inot being a paying member i dont feel i have the right to really tell em to cut out the cr4ap.thanks for keeping the site great and open to us less fortunates that dont have much money but still enjoy being here.

hmmmm, i hadn't noticed anything in particular... I have noticed a big influx in noobs becoming regulars, and posting a ton... I'm talking people here less than a couple yrs....

if I get outta line, just wing an introweb wrench at my head....

Wasn't aware of any big problems, but I was recalling how it was bout 5-6 years ago, and think we are light years ahead in maturity since then.
