Well I visited my local salvage yard and I got a copy of the trade journals they send to them(its like a classified ad newspaper for the salvage industry)and found a few places that have rear ends,power steering boxes,transmissions,axles,transfer cases and rebuilding kits.I checked out the website for one place called Kabele Truck and Auto Parts at www.Kabele.com . They have a three page ad in the trade paper with prices,but the website is poor,looks like they took a picture of the classified ad and tried posting it on the website.I am not certain if they will sell to the general public or not,but their prices are hard to beat,says in the ad they will beat or match anyones prices,one example is a rebulit NV4500 for $1395 exch.,a Gm 14 bolt (1988-2000 models)8 lug 9.5 ring gear 3.73 or 4.10 ratio $1395 for locking,$995 for non locking,Gm 4x4 power steering box 1969-1976 $145 exch.
I was impressed with the ad ,but the website is not how they do most of their buissiness I guess.

Sorry,no web adress for that place,same deal as above,I have no idea about their sales policy to the average Joe--the Kabele place offers free freight if you buy 6 or more peices.
