So Im not a mud guy but I was a redneck long before I was a wheeler. So needless to say I guess being able to turn doughnuts in the mud is a given talent. As I sling the truck around and around this happens.

I did not snap an axle, I did not break any wheelstuds....

I would have to guess the center of the wheel broke or the C-clip broke.

if you look at it the backing is missing off the axle, i vote c clip

Looks to me like the whole side of the axel broke off! I don't see any brake components on there. So something went terrably wrong

i would have to say. . . no axle sticking out of wheel, so not a C-clip. axle housing still on truck, so that's ruled out. i'd say it would have to be that the wheel broke out in the middle.
