A picture of my Hey yall watch this carnage

steve is the closest. I installed a new axle shaft on the passanger side rear the other day. Evidently I got the wrong studs from napa, the thing is since I run spacers in the rear the nuts only go down over about an inch of stud, I didnt notice... and lucky me I trailered it to Heflin AL for the first time. I wheeled with it like that all day long... and at the end of the day I sent it flying

Wow, good thing you wernt on the street. Was it the studs or the spacers, I think you might be a poster child for "why not to run spacers". Or "when spacers go bad", or "when spacers send you flying over a 300 foot cliff and go tumbling down in a burning fire ball of death destruction and mayhem the spacer of death." Ok Im done, sorry had too much coffee this morning.

You probabily got 12mm and not 7/16 lug nuts:D

Same thing happened to caleb22, his front wheel fell off going down the road.

There is nothing wrong with running spacers, I have a set and the lugs have stayed right where I torqued them to since I installed them.

it was not the spacers, it was the studs being wrong....That will teach me to be in a hurry......I just wanted to see what the 456s would feel like.
gabe:D

When I did my disk brake conversion, I noticed that my studs seemed too short, others told me it "should be OK", I disagreed, and spent the 60 bucks on new studs. After reading your post I think I made the correct decision, otherwise I may have had a similar adventure.
