Like I mentioned somewhere else on here, I have my CB mounted overhead, with my wiring running down the A-pillar, so I decided I would hide it all with the plastic piece I assume the fancier trucks had, so I go to both of my local junkyards and look at probably around 15 trucks, of all varieties, C10's to K30's, Suburbans and Blazers, all varying from custom deluxes to Silverado/Sierra's, the oldest being a 74 C20, and the newest being a 91 K5, None of them had the plastic pieces, am I just going on a wild goose chase looking for pieces that don't exist? LMC says they do, but that's the only place I've ever seen them.

My 90 suburban had a pillar plastics. And I'm almost positive the 79 k5 I just picked up has them too.

I have a full factory set from a blazer in white. You can easily paint any color you need. I will dig them out if you're interested. It is some of the parts I'm selling anyway. They will be cheaper than buying new aftermarkets. Need to make room.

Most trucks have them. I know a lot of trucks didn't have factory headliners, but I thought virtually every truck had interior plastics. They are fragile and yellow easily, perhaps a lot of them broke over time, and thus were stripped from junkyard trucks. LMC has decent pieces, but the A-pillar pieces do run about $20 a piece. I painted my plastics black when I installed my highliner, and it really improved the look.

Well today a friend of mine talked me into going to a junkyard down in Alton, and I found a 90, half ton fancy Suburban, and low and behold it had all the interior trim, and in even in blue.

Got all of the pieces but the rear ones for $12

Nice score on the plastics. Out of the four square's I've owned (82 k20, 84 k5, 87 v10, 76 c30) only the c30 has interior plastic. None of the others had anything except dash, door panels, and if I am lucky, mats. No headliner in any of the other trucks either, only the c30.
