Hmmm, I shall try! I hope to get my R&P for the rear finished by Saturday the 26th. If I do go I will ant to keep my wheelin to a minimum cuz I woun't have hardly any miles on my new gears...
but heading down there would be a good trip to take for the 'break-in' of my new gearsets...

The "Break In Period" for a ring & pinion is 20 miles then stop and let the gears totally cool off. It's 500 total miles if you use the rig for heavy towing.
My 14 bolt is all welded up and my rims came today so maybe it'll be installed by the 16th or 17th.

I hear ya David! I plan on getting my rig rolling tonight so I will put put around the neigborhood first just to make sure nothing sounds bad or feels bad then let it sit. Next day I'll take it down the road a bit get it up to 45 or so and just go from there....... I still don't know if my rookie R&P swap is even gonna work
! I feel OK about the job I did so I hope my feelings are correct!!!

the wife is supposed to go wedding-present shopping with a girlfriend tomorrow. maybe i'll hang out and be a good boy tonight, so she'll cut me loose tomorrow.
i don't know, though. we got a polaris watercraft a little while ago, and i've been kinda abusing my husband-with-a-new-toy privilige.
