Hmmm. A fast truck that can't haul anything and only seats 2-3. Kind of like the Syclone? Seems like keeping an automatic transmission is ruining the packaging. Probably need the motor there and the battery underhood. Too bad the article doesn't talk about any plans for production layouts.

It was a sema truck they built to show how an electric motor can be swapped in for a conventional engine.
They said they only used the auto as proof of concept, not because they needed it.
Electric motor in front of a slushbox....
