Ain't they just Purdy!!!!! :D I Finally got off my arse and made it our to the powder coater I like to use. Before I did I took the time as I allways do to Radius EVERY single edge of every part for good Adheision of the powder and thickness on the corners of the parts. As usual though I forgot to take some parts in :doah:.

Just means there will be another trip in my future at some point. This is what AJAX POWDER COATING AND SAND BLASTING in Van Nuys Ca. call Tiger Bengal Red. Its a very high gloss Blood Blood red. The pics don't do it justice. There's no Orange in it at all, I don't know if it looks like it or not to some but there's none, Just a nice Deep Blood Red.

I was going to go with a bright Orange and Electric Blue but now I have decided to go Red and Electric Blue OR Red and a darker blue like the American Flag colors. Basically a Red, White, and Blue There so to speak. I still want the long flames down the side but it will be Red with White & Blue flames or something along those lines.

Here are pics of the color swatches, Tiger Bengal Blue with the Tiger Bengal Red and the Azure Blue. The pics of the Azure blue don't look as good as it does in person. It's a bright Electric Blue. I like them both but can't decide. Give me your Openions please.

More pics, Here is a pics of the kind of flames I want for the most. There might be an over lapping layer of flames in a different color one Blue, one White. I want the cage white but all suspension and frame brackets in red and Blue or just all Red.

You see Diy4X, Ruff Stuff, and ORD and my fabricated parts here. 47 pieces in all for $235.00 Not a bad price IMHO. I love how wet everything looks!

Looks good.
What are your plans for the rear bump stop brackets? Extend them or what?

I will probably have a fabricated extension of some kind that will just bolt to the stock bump stop. I should have had that done first ofcoures but its no big deal to drill if you have allready powder coated a part. I have Energy Suspension bump stops, Is it really necessary to extend them? I want all the flex I can get without issue ofcourse. Running 63" 1/2 ton springs, 4" shackle flip as you see.

Oh, I forgot the color swatch pics. The lighter Blue is like Superman colors and the darker Blue is like the American Flag colors.

Gotdamn! All those parts need to be under my crew cab! I wanted to go with black chrome but I'm not sure. But that blood red sure makes it look spicy. Just "sssssss" HOT! :D

I'm not a fan of red, but hey to each their own, I like seeing thorough work though, good job!

That's coincidental. I had Ajax powder coat a 6' ramp for my car trailer. They had it ready to go the next day, and the finish looked awesome. Pretty fast service considering they loaded it on a truck and did the actual coating in Canyon Country (or near there)

Nice lookin' parts! I'll be interested to see how they hold up to being sand blasted in the dunes...

It would actually take a long, LONG time for it to dull the finish but it would never "blast" it off. I have grit blasted powder coated parts before with a pressure pot type blaster using 36 grit Aluminum Oxide and let me tell ya, it's some brutal stuff to remove. It takes forever in a day to remove it back down to bare metal. The blast cabinet was a Kelco Industrial cabinet too, not some cheap home unit. I'm not worried about sand at all, It's the rocks that will do the damage, but I dont care about that either.

Hmmm sounds like a good option then... I had thought about getting some parts coated but wasn't sure how they'd hold up to the sand.
