I have 35" Dunlop mud Rovers and I hope that doesn't happen to me. I'll have to watch out for those sticks LOL.

35" All-Terrains... I don't get it.

Yes I acctually popped one a couple years ago too on a root that was trimed at an angle so it looked like a spear. It was pruned away by someone and left a spike looking root sticking out of the ground and it totally popped my tire right in the sidewall, ripped a nice hole in it. this new one was way wierd cuz it just doesn't seam possiable for that little of a dryed out stick could pop any of our tires??......

Just another reason, to understand tire sidewalls, and if its a radial tire
buyer be ware, all those 6-10 plys you see are the tread not the sidewall !
Good luck with the SS Radials.
6000lbs. and four tires think about it !

I don't want the one you popped for my spare.............LOL

If it ain't broke.......Don't fix it....

Re: A stick (1/2

The same thing happened to my buddys son who tagged along on our hunting trip This weekend.
He brought his Heep because he thought My K5 wouldn't be able to get around on the rough and skinny mountain trails where we hunt.
Well a little ole stick poped his tire. And he couldn't go slow and run his Air conditioning without overheating. So the heep stayed in camp. And we all went in Kool comfort anywhere we wanted in my K5.
After driving my Blazer around for a couple of days, Picking us up and dropping us off at the areas we wanted to hunt, the kid was pretty impressed with the ol' K5. So i told him "You ought to see what it will do when its in 4 wheel drive" LOL
