I was fumbling around the AA site, looking for s bell housing when this popped up.

What do ya'll think?
I really don't want to drill the front face of the tranny...
They give zero info on it. Just the name, a pic, and a part #.

That's a lot of money so you don't have to drill 2 holes. I will be drilling the holes on mine.

Don’t mean to back but I have an AA bell that came with a trans I bought. Part # says it’s a SBC to Jeep T5 trans. Bolts up to early GM 4500. Less price than that lol…

Over priced and hyped up crap if you ask me .

Fancy 1 part# repackage of common parts most of the time .

C'mon I didn't buy it lol came with a trans i bought. I got the right bell for it and sold it. now I'm stuck with the bell.....I figure some Jeep freak would want it.....

Well buying used at less price is one thing if you got it. I just refuse to pay AA for the stuff they sell when the proper bell already exists.

Eventually there won’t be any factory ones left, then AA will seem like a better deal

I have decided on a 4" lift.
Should be enough clearance to use the stock passenger side slave cylinder, yes?

That's the magic questions.
Checked out the tuff country e-z rides, but they're $262 apiece.
I have 2" springs (General Spring) for the rear to go with the 4.5 shackle flip kit I bought from someone here a decade ago.

I'll listen to recommendations for some quality less expensive units...

Wish I was a heartless bastard, I'd have had my rig done years ago...

I did tuff country 4" HD for a blazer with big winch bumper . Also zero rate 1.5" forward push . Had crossover already . Nv4500 and 205 with 2" spacer for direct bolt up and had tons of room for driveshaft to slave .

I checked the General Spring site again after I posted last night.
Have a 4" set of their e-z rides on the way. :saweet::saweet::saweet::saweet:

Well, you got my attention. What holes are you referring to exactly. I'm running the AA bellhousing and the clutch engagement sucks so anything would be an improvement.

I don't want to hijack this thread so if you want to PM me that's fine also. Thanks.

I am talking about using the stock sm465 bellhousing which matches 2 of the 4 holes, you have to drill the other 2.
