I have seen that happen to more then one guy... Are you running a 350? I watched about 5 350s kill oil pumps all about the same time, it was on a wheelin party and all we were doing was going to the trail... talk about wierd... pull the sender from the engine and crank it over, that will tell ya!
Thanks guys, But it aint the gauge. SB Chevys are amazing, making all kinds of noise getting it home, but its still running. Lets see a Ford do that !!!
The gauge is down to nothing, but I think there is some pressure. The valves are making noise and I here a new noise that sounds like its in the bottom end.
It gets worse under acceleration. I want to throw a mech gauge on tonight, but
I think its screwed. It's got over 140 K on it so I shouldnt be complaining. Just bad timing. My other car needs trans work, and I need surgery on my neck so working on it is just not a option for me right now.
This is just turning into a rant now. Thanks for trying to help though.
Now....Have car fixed first or truck ????
